Insta-ready salon opens in Chesterfield

Chesterfield has welcomed a new salon as Pink Gorilla opens in the Clay Cross area of the town.

Founded by hair and nail professionals Kerry Manders and Leanne Hemmens, Pink Gorilla makes a striking statement with vibrant pink peony interior combined with a green jungle wall, complete with giant Gary the Gorilla taking centre stage. 

The salon offers a full range of hair and nail services, including Hair Colouring and Styling, Hair Extensions, Brows, Gel Nails and Nail Art. 

Commenting on the launch of the new salon, Pink Gorilla co-founder Kerry Manders, says: 

“We are delighted to open Pink Gorilla in Chesterfield. The pandemic has been very challenging for the beauty industry, especially salons.

"We wanted to open a unique modern salon that is buzzing with creativity and positivity, set in a fun and relaxed environment. We are also looking expand our team and are recruiting new staff in the local area.”
