Indie Beauty Expo London to launch in October

A new beauty exhibition is coming to London this autumn. The Indie Beauty Expo (IBE) takes place in Shoreditch and will showcase up to 100 emerging boutique beauty brands to European buyers.

This is the first time the Indie Beauty Expo has taken place in the UK, with previous events being held in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas. A similar event will also take place in Berlin in March 2019.

IBE Co-Founder Jillian Wright explains why the event has chosen to launch in London:

“London consumers have so much choice available to them, this forces buyers to be constantly hunting for fresh brands to differentiate their collections; this makes London retailers very forward-thinking and open to innovation. This is a great fit for indie brands, because that's exactly where independent brands shine – they're fresh, different, and innovative. It's a real win-win.”

IBE London will be held over two-days, comprising of SHOP Indie on day one (24th October) open to consumers, media and influencers, and TRADE Indie on day two (25th October) open exclusively to UK and international trade professionals.

Indie Beauty Media recently announced the launch of Spark Beauty, a partnership with Feelunique, showcasing a range of US independent beauty brands to UK consumers.

Tickets for IBE London, which takes place at The Old Truman Brewery, are available at indiebeautyexpo.com. Applications are also open for exhibitors to showcase their brands.
