Imaan Hammam joins Estée Lauder in Ambassador role
Dutch supermodel and activist Imaan Hammam has been named as Estée Lauder's newest Global Brand Ambassador. Her first campaign will debut in July.
Imaan made her runway debut in 2013 for Jean-Paul Gaultier, Givenchy, Hermes, Proenza Schouler, Chanel and Valentino. She is also Global Ambassador for non-profit organisation She's the First.
Commenting on her appointment, Imaan Hammam says:
“I am so honored to be part of the Estée Lauder family. Estée Lauder has such a rich heritage and some of the most iconic beauty products, but I am most proud to be part of a brand that champions women's advancement around the world.”
Imaan Hammam attended this year's Met Gala alongside (pictured) her fellow Estée Lauder Global Brand Ambassadors, Carolyn Murphy, Karlie Kloss and Grace Elizabeth. In honour of the event's Karl Lagerfeld theme, lmaan's makeup was inspired by iconic supermodel looks of the 1990s, created using Estée Lauder products.
Nadia Tayeh, lmaan's make-up artist, says:
"We wanted lmaan's beauty look to reflect the iconic glamour of the classic 90s supermodels, like Yasmine Ghauri and Cindy Crawford. We went with a matte eyeshadow and winged liner, soft matte skin, complement with a frosted, metallic lip.”
