How do you apply? Read our in-depth Rebuild & Rebuild Active Step-by-Step below:
Prep
Sterilise your hands and apply gloves. Then sterilise the feet and perform normal preparation on your clients toenails. The Halo Precision 180 File and the Halo Cuticle Eradicator are perfect for this step, whilst also using your Halo Cuticle Nippers to trim cuticle as required.
Once preparation is complete, use your Halo Prep & Scrub to remove the dust and any debris. This will also dehydrate the nail. If done correctly, the nail should have a chalky white appearance. Repeat if needed.
Base
Before applying your base coat, use your Halo Cuticle Eradicator to gently push back the cuticle again. Apply your Halo Gel Polish Plus Super Base Coat to the toenail you wish to reconstruct, and cure for 60 seconds.
Halo Rebuild must only be applied to the nail or a tip, and not directly on skin. Depending on which you choose, apply the nail form or tip to the toenail you wish to reconstruct.
Apply
Using the Halo Flat No.6 Brush and chosen Halo Rebuild, start to construct the nail. Place a base layer down where you want to build the nail and cure for 60 seconds.
Now using the same brush and Halo Rebuild, build the nail into shape to give strength and structure. Once happy with the result, cure for a further 60 seconds.
Once cured, remove the Halo Elite Form if used, and using a Halo lint-free wipe and Halo Prep & Scrub, cleanse the nail from the inhibition layer. File the toenail into shape using the Halo Precision 180 File and buff smooth using the Halo Elite Buffer 180.
Remove the dust with Halo Prep & Scrub and Halo Plush Brush from ALL toenails. This will dehydrate all the nails ready for the next step.
Final touches
Now apply your chosen base coat to all toes and cure. Make sure to not flood the cuticle and side walls. Clean up any gel before curing. Apply two coats of chosen colour, curing after each layer. Apply your chosen top coat, making sure you cap the free edge and cure.
Finish with our Halo Citrus Cuticle Oil to all toenails and massage in. And that's it!
