Vicki Jackson has been named Spa Director at Gisborough Hall as the country house hotel prepares to open its new Sakura Spa.
Part of the hotel's team since 2017, Vicky has moved through the ranks from Business Development Manager to Deputy Hotel Manager. She will now head up both the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the hotel's spa and wellness facilities, located in Gisborough, North Yorkshire.
Sakura Spa includes a new spa garden, with a range of facilities set against woodland and countryside views, including a vitality pool, herbal sauna, salt steam room, Finnish sauna and cold plunge. Six dedicated rooms include a couples' treatment room and a specialised Japanese head spa.
At the heart of the spa experience is Koyo, an on-site dining concept named after the Japanese word for “autumn leaves”, inspired by the tradition of observing seasonal change. The menu will focus on light, nourishing dishes created to complement the spa's wellbeing ethos.
Commenting on her appointment as Spa Director, Vicky Jackson (pictured right) says:
“Sakura Spa is such an exciting vision to be bringing to life and I'm absolutely thrilled to step into this new role. From the treatments to the thermal journey and dining, every detail has been so thoughtfully designed.”
