FTG collaborates for scalp tattoo training
Micropigmentation experts Finishing Touches Group is collaborating with scalp micropigmentation educators, Brandwood Clinic, to offer training in scalp tattoo training procedures.
Both companies have found that recently the most common education requests are for Scalp Micropigmentation Procedures (SMP) from micropigmentation technicians as well as barbers and transplant surgeons.
Forthcoming training in SMP takes place from 17th to 19th July in Birmingham, and 25 to 27th July in Haywards Heath. Further courses will take place later in the year, and all come with accreditation of Level 4 certificate issued by OCN (Open College Network).
Brandwood Clinic was founded by Paul Clark and Simon Lane. Paul Clark started life as a tattoo artist and entered the world for SMP in 2010. Simon, after overcoming a childhood injury of third-degree burns to his scalp, became Paul's client and was so impressed with SMP that he went on to train and the two began working together.
Commenting on the collaboration with Finishing Touches Group, Paul says:
“We began training with the aim of improving standards in the scalp industry. In our desire to develop further and offer a qualification that enabled our students to spread the gospel about SMP we had only one choice of partner. Finishing Touches Group's ethics and practices have helped us to improve and jointly we believe that we offer a perfect combination of skills.”
Dawn Forshaw, MD of Finishing Touches Group, adds:
“We are both uniquely customer focused and committed to improving standards within the industry. These jointly held beliefs enable us to take training to the next level. Our knowledge and understanding of people and procedures is second-to-none and we recognised that by combining our talents we could offer the best training to suit all needs.”
