Expedia launches Best Organic Spa guide
Online travel provider Expedia has launched its guide to the Best Organic Spas in Europe, an interactive tool which enables you to plan a luxury getaway.
In addition to highlighting the spa resorts that offer the most unique experiences and luxurious treatments, Expedia's guide also features the best hotels to stay in, tips for must-see locations in the region, and the cheapest ways to get there.
Kasha Dubaniewicz, Project Manager at Expedia, says:
“A spa break that uses organic products is the ideal way to detox and relax following a long winter. Europe is home to countless luxurious spa resorts - many of which can be found in the UK - but this guide specifically showcases spas that offer organic treatments in unique settings. If you're looking for a relaxing and wholesome summer getaway, this online guide is exactly what you need.”
Highlights of the guide include pearl treatments in Normandy and wine treatments in Bordeaux as well as seaweed treatments in County Mayo, Ireland. Plus, there's details of ylang and gold particle treatments at the Four Seasons Spa in Budapest, and olive oil and pine-flower honey therapies at the Mandarin Oriental.
Unique locations are also featured including La Plantacion del Sur in Tenerife (pictured) which is situated on a former banana plantation.
