New sunscreen based on Traditional Chinese Medicine
Elemental Herbology has launched a new sun protection product based on Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Elemental Herbology Smart Screen SPF50 is a broad-spectrum sun protection that shields skin from sun damage, high-energy visible (HEV) blue light from screens and environmental pollution.
It is formulated with Pollustop® that forms a physical barrier on the skin's surface to protect against the effects of atmospheric and urban pollution, limiting oxidative stress damage, inflammation and cell toxicity. In addition, Aquaceria, derived from the mineral Cerium, blocks UVA and UVB rays and blue light. Provitamin B5 and Vitamin E help strengthen the skin's protective barrier, as does Glycerine.
Elemental Herbology's formulations are based on the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water, with Smart Screen SPF50 part of the Fire Element. It can be layered over a daily moisturiser or used alone.
