Cloud Nine launches trade-in service to tackle electrical waste

Professional hair tool brand Cloud Nine has introduced a sustainable trade-in service to tackle the 2 million tonnes of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) items discarded by households and companies in the UK annually.

The trade-in service is open to any pre-loved electrical hair styling products manufactured by Cloud Nine, Dyson and GHD. In return you'll receive £60 off a new tool from the Cloud Nine collection including The Original Cordless Iron, The Original Iron, The Wide Iron, The Touch Iron, The Wide Iron Pro, The Original Iron Pro and the brand new Cloud Nine Contouring Iron Pro.

Traded-in tools will be reused, refurbished with a new manufacturer's warranty, repurposed or recycled at Cloud Nine's recycling centre.

Cloud Nine's trade-in service aims to register 45% of its customers to the programme by 2025.
