Cheers! Glasgow salon opens new bar
A Glasgow salon has launched a new bar enabling them to offer clients a wider variety of refreshments including cocktails!
The Rainbow Room Social Club is located within Rainbow Room International's George Square salon and offers clients an area to relax and socialise. After the salon's refit in 2022, Salon Directors Yasmine McMail and Dylan Brittain have been awaiting approval from the city's Licensing Board to enable them to open the bar area.
Now the license has been approved, clients can choose from a menu of wines, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages and complimentary teas and coffees during their hair or make-up appointment.
Located in the reception area of the salon, the Rainbow Room Social Club features high backed stools, hanging pendant lights and large dried flower bouquets.
Commenting on the opening of the bar, Director of the
Rainbow Room International's George Square salon, Yasmine McMail, says:
“We are beyond excited to now have the bar open for business! It's been a long time coming and something our clients have been so excited for. We've already received incredible feedback from clients who have loved using the bar area, enjoying a drink after their hair and make-up appointments before their nights out and special events and also whilst they wait for their colour to develop. It really has added to the client's experience in the salon and has clients excited to come back for their next appointment!”
