CACI champions hormone & skin health education at Happy Place Festival
CACI International placed skin health education in the spotlight at this year's Happy Place Festival, founded by TV and radio personality Fearne Cotton, with an expert discussion exploring the link between hormones and skin.
Rejuva Med Key Opinion Leader Dr Hansel Misquitta joined presenter and
Don't Pop That Spot influencer Afia Kufuor for the session, titled ‘Hormones & Me: Skin Edition'. Hosted by Afia Kufuor, the discussion looked at how hormonal changes can affect the skin at every stage of life, from the menstrual cycle and pregnancy to perimenopause and menopause.
The session also covered skin concerns including acne, pigmentation, dryness and sensitivity, as well as conditions such as PCOS and the effects of hormonal treatments. According to the release, the audience was engaged and keen to learn more about what their skin may be communicating.
Ahead of the festival, Afia Kufuor (pictured left with Ferne Cotton) experienced the CACI Rejuva Med facial with Dr Hansel Misquitta at her central London clinic. She described the treatment as “the perfect choice for a lovely brightening and sculpting boost ahead of hosting”, adding that it was relaxing and offered minimal downtime.
As part of CACI's support for the event, every attendee received a CACI Purifying Silver Mask, formulated for oily, combination and sensitised skin.
