Bare Addiction launch teen-specific SPF
A new sun protection factor (SPF) product has been introduced specifically for teenage skins.
Bare Addiction Skincare has developed their new gentle day cream with a built-in SPF 30 to protect young skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays whilst also addressing teenage skin issues such as acne and blemishes.
Bare Addiction SPF 30 Daily Defence Moisturiser features broad spectrum SPF 30 to create a crucial barrier to prevent UV damage that may irritate acne as well as cause discolouration and premature ageing of the skin as well increase the risk of skin cancer. At the same time, Vitamin B3 niacinamide and Indian Ginseng Root extract control shine, reduce excess sebum and minimise bacteria.
Commenting on the launch of Bare Addiction SPF 30 Daily Defence Moisturiser, Mark Poole, Director and Founder of
Bare Addiction Skincare, says:
“As we approach summer, it's important that we don't forget about suncare. UV rays can cause significant damage to skin, and research suggests that the extent of this damage could be worse on young skin. Yet despite this, many teens steer clear of sun creams because they're typically quite greasy, increase oiliness, clog pores, exacerbate spots and acne or simply don't believe they need SPF protection in the UK.
“We've developed a highly effective solution. By incorporating UV protection into our grease-free, lightweight, and mattifying moisturiser, we're offering the best of both worlds: effective sun protection, and powerful active ingredients to help improve skin health. If you ask a dermatologist, the one thing they can't suggest enough is incorporating an SPF into a daily skincare routine no matter the age, purely because of the benefits it provides.”
