Associated Beauty Therapist's (ABT) Director Dave Horton has joined the City & Guilds Beauty Industry Advisory Board (IAB). The appointment means that ABT will play a key role in representing employers and stakeholders within the UK beauty, hair and complementary therapy sectors to support shaping the future of beauty and hair education.

The City & Guilds Industry Advisory Board comprises a number of the industry's key figures representing employers, professional associations and supply companies. The IAB's aim is to support trainee professionals in our sector by rigorously reviewing and contributing towards the quality and content of City & Guilds qualifications and educational provision.

City & Guilds offer a full suite of qualifications from Entry Level 3 up to Level 4, designed to suit all learning needs and covering all sectors within the Beauty and Complementary Therapies industry.

ABT is the largest beauty and insurance membership provider in the UK including over 18,000 active and insured business owners, and supports the industry including learners, professionals, salons and training providers. ABT also accredits 1,500 training providers enabling them to offer face-to-face and online training that has been approved and endorsed.
