Nail Art Step by Step: Spooky Ghost Cuticle Cuffs

We love these super cute ghostly nails designed by Salon System nail expert Jaz Moger using Gellux products. Here she shares her step-by-step tutorial so you can recreate these for your clients as Halloween approaches.

Step One
Prepare the nails by filing to shape, pushing back the cuticle and buffing the nail plate.

Cleanse nails with Gellux Prep + Wipe, apply Gellux Fast Bond followed by two coats of Gellux Light Pink Builder Gel curing between each layer.

Using a fine liner and Gellux Purely White, paint a cuticle cuff at the bottom of the nail. Cure for 60 seconds and paint a second coat.

Step Two
Next start to paint the ghost's head using Gellux Purely White.

Step Three
Fill in the head and paint the arm and bump in the body again using Gellux Purely White and cure for 60 seconds.

Step Four
Using a dotting tool and Gellux Black Onyx, dot the ghost's facial features.

Step Five
Repeat steps two, three and four across all nails and cure for 60 seconds.

Finish the design by painting two coats of Gellux Super Shiny Top Coat, and cure for 60 seconds between each layer.

Once cured, wipe over the nails with Gellux Prep + Wipe and oil the cuticles.
