Schwarzkopf announce Young Artistic Team 18/19


The latest styling stars of the Schwarzkopf Professional 2018/19 Young Artistic Team have been unveiled.

Six winners were selected after proving their skills to an elite industry judging panel during an intense day at Easton Regal Hairdressing in London. Judges included Creative Head magazine editor Amanda Nottage and Hairdresser's Journal editor Laura Husband; John Spanton, Creative Colour Director of Trevor Sorbie; Schwarzkopf Professional ambassador and salon-owner Tim Scott Wright; and industry icon Peter Burkill from HOB Salons.

The 2018/19 Young Artistic Team are Hannah McGrath of 77 the Hill, Enfield; Misha McLean of Rainbow Room, Uddingston; Chloe Hunter from Daniel Granger Hair, Northampton; Joe Maughan of Hooker & Young, Ponteland; Keely Passmore of Janet Maitland in Durham; and Fabia Bruce of Hensmans, Northampton.

As part of Schwarzkopf Professional's Young Artistic Team, the stylists will have exciting opportunities to enhance their skills and experience including styling their own photoshoot, training from Schwarzkopf's ambassadors, stage presentations and education sessions.

Their development will be led by YAT managers and mentors Catherine Adams and Jamie Farrar.

Commenting on the selection process, Catherine says:

“The overall standard for all competitors was exceptionally high and the panel of esteemed judges from the industry, had an extremely hard decision to make.”

Jamie adds:

“There's a lot of amazing people in the team and the judges did a fantastic job. It's going to be a great year!”
