Grapefruit body concept for slimming & toning

A new body concept has been launched by Parisian brand, Dr Renaud, combining the benefits of grapefruit extract with slimming and firming massage along with body wrapping.

The slimming and firming treatment enables therapists to create a truly bespoke body therapy using the most suitable combination of five treatments.

Treatment options include starting with a Professional Exfoliation to remove dead skin cells, leaving skin looking refreshed and more receptive to the application of the massage products and chosen wrap.

The choice between the two massages is dependent on clients' needs and desired end result. A Slimming Massage to help re-shape the silhouette uses invigorating movements; alternatively, a Firming Massage will tone and firm the skin using revitalising movements.

Next there is the choice of two body wraps, again with both a slimming and firming option. The Slimming Wrap promotes drainage and decongestion to help eliminate stored fat, ideal for clients who are looking to achieve a more toned silhouette. The Firming Wrap, designed to regenerate and tone, improves skin elasticity whilst softening and moisturising.

Five new Dr Renaud Grapefruit products have also been launched: two professional sized and three retail homecare products.

At the heart of the range is the patented Neuro-Phyto-Oxgenating Complex by Dr Renaud, which targets the cutaneous nervous system using a powerful complex of natural active ingredients.

Dr Renaud Grapefruit Body Hydrating Milk is an intense hydrating complex with the freshness of organic Grapefruit Water along with the nourishing properties of Shea Butter and Sweet Almond. Dr Renaud Grapefruit Body Exfoliating Scrub is a creamy body scrub which uses small particles of salt and rice to gently eliminate dead skin cells and impurities. Skin is left hydrated thanks to a combination of Aloe Vera and Vegetable Glycerine extract.

Dr Renaud Grapefruit Body Firming Cream is ideal for use on the thighs, stomach, bust and inner arms, and is a rich melt-in formula that gives an immediate toning sensation with the benefits of longer term firmness. Created using a concentrate of active plant ingredients including Polypeptide Pea extract, this firming cream helps combat sagging and loss of elasticity. These three products are available in salon and retail sizes.
