Seaweed supplement brand enters spa market

Doctor Seaweed founder Dr Craig Rose shares his insights on seaweed as a powerful superfood at the launch at Seaham Hall.

Nutritional supplement brand Doctor Seaweed has launched its products into spas, starting with the Serenity Spa at Seaham Hall in County Durham.

The spa recently hosted a launch event with the Doctor Seaweed team to celebrate the introduction of the brand's Pure Seaweed nutritional supplements.

At the event, Marine Biologist and Doctor Seaweed founder Dr Craig Rose shared his insights on seaweed as a powerful superfood, and was joined by Leon Trayling, director of Hebridean skincare brand ishga, who talked all things seaweed and wellness.

Doctor Seaweed's Pure Seaweed nutritional supplements incorporate essential food-based iodine, vitamins A, D, E, C, B and B12 and minerals including calcium, potassium, magnesium and iron. These can optimise thyroid health, metabolism and cognitive function, as well as improve the overall health and appearance of skin, nails and hair.

Commenting on the Doctor Seaweed launch into the spa sector, Dr Craig Rose PhD says:

"Here at Doctor Seaweed our mission is to help people discover the wonder of seaweed for their health and wellbeing.  A spa is an immersive experience that allows individuals to unwind through treatments that prioritise their wellbeing. Our nutritional seaweed supplements complement this by supporting the client's wider wellness, from the inside out. The introduction of Doctor Seaweed's supplements into spas supports the client's wellness journey, whether that is to relax and unwind, detoxify or rejuvenate, we are delighted to be part of making people look and feel wonderful."
