Podiatrist develops plant-based foot care range
Kendal-based Podiatrist, Zoe Wilson, has launched a range of natural footcare products designed to appeal to foot health professionals as well as spas and consumers.
Z.W. Footcare Solutions are formulated using plant-based ingredients, essential oil and beeswax, and are free from synthetic, artificial ingredients, parabens and SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate). The collection includes remedies for dry cracked heels, dry skin, odour, aching joints and active feet on the move.
Keen to produce an environmentally-friendly product range, Zoe uses bottles made from biopolymer, a sustainable plastic by-product of sugar production which results in lower greenhouse gas emissions, along with recyclable packaging and aluminium.
Commenting on the launch of the
Z.W. Footcare Solutions range, Zoe Wilson says:
“Our foot care range has been developed alongside leading skin experts using formulas that are ethically sourced. Only the purest plant oils, butters and essential oil blends have been selected. To be able to offer the podiatry industry choice in providing a natural alternative to their skin and foot care regime is wonderful. In addition to our products being fully traceable and sustainable, they have been sourced from right here in the UK.”
Zoe Wilson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Podiatry or Podiatric Medicine (BSc Hons) and a Master's degree in Theory of Podiatric Surgery. She established
Z.W. Foot and Ankle Podiatry clinic in Kendal, Cumbria in 2017.
