Expert blowdrying at Dyson's new London Beauty Lab

Dyson has opened its Beauty Lab in London, a new salon where customers can enjoy a professional blow-dry using Dyson's portfolio of personal care products.

Located above the Dyson Demo Store on Oxford Street, London, the Beauty Lab offers 45-minute blow dry appointments delivering a variety of looks including voluminous curls, classic waves, smoothing and straightening. The Beauty Lab features six styling stations with professionally trained hair stylists on hand to offer styling advice and wet-to-dry styling services.

Commenting on the launch of London's Beauty Lab, Sam Bernard, Global Engineering Director of Personal Care Category at Dyson, says:

“It is critical for people to be able to experience our technology, so they can understand how it works. This space is designed with that in mind. For instance, you can book an appointment online or walk in for a styling session [subject to availability] with a Dyson beauty expert who will style your hair with our personal care technologies that work for all hair types.”

Products on display and used during treatments include the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer and Dyson Airwrap styler to achieve the styles. Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer is powered by the patented Dyson digital motor V9 and uses a fast but focused airflow and temperature controls which help protect hair from extreme heat damage. The Dyson Airwrap™ Styler which uses jets of create voluminous curls, natural waves and smooth blow-dry finishes.

Those purchasing a Dyson Supersonic™ hairdryer at the Dyson Demo – Beauty Lab can also pair their hairdryer with an engraved case.
