Dyson launch Pro version of Supersonic hairdryer

Dyson has launched the new
Dyson Supersonic™ professional edition hair dryer in the UK, which uses a fast but focused airflow for precise styling.
The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer was initially launched in 2016 using Dyson's V9 digital motor, and now a professional version has been created, by working with renowned hair stylists, to meet the needs of the busy professional.

The product has been tested on multiple hair types using test rigs which mechanically simulate hair drying techniques, which differ around the world. The brand says that, to date, over 1,010 miles of real human hair has been used in testing.
Tom Crawford, Dyson Global Research and Development Director, Personal Care, explains:
“To design a hair dryer for professionals, our engineers first had to understand the working environments and habits of hair stylists globally. Over two years, the team optimised and re-engineered the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer. The new machine possesses optimised attachments for precise, fast styling and a re-engineered filter to capture the air borne pollutants typically found in salons.”

Intelligent heat control ensures that hair isn't exposed to extreme heat which can damage hair, and there are three heat settings to choose from along with a cold shot. Magnetic attachments, including a styling concentrator, diffuser, and smoothing nozzle, feature technology that prevents edges being too hot to touch.
Commenting on the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer professional edition, Larry King, Session stylist and salon owner, says:
“The 3 metre long cable gives me more mobility with my clients when styling. Trust me, you need the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer professional edition in your kit!”
